About Us

Inventor, Patty Peffer, has always been fascinated with science and beauty.  She especially found an irresistible connection to the endless patterns created by Kaleidoscopes.

She has traveled and lived in various places, and has an inquisitive nature that led her to earn two college degrees.  So not surprisingly, she took a scientific approach to building the prototype  KaleidoView Portal. ®

The kaleidoscope's spell captures young and old with vivid colors and artistic designs.  It was invented by a Scotsman named Sir David Brewster in 1816.  His curiosity led to important discoveries in the science of optics and color.    His kaliedoscope has often been described as "The Great Philosophical Toy."

The science behind the Brewster angle, has been instrumental in a variety of applications, from electron microsopes to radio frequency adjustment.
